Our Strategic Objectives:
1. Increase opportunities for preventing (inter- and intra- community) conflicts by engaging in practical, meaningful and acceptable peace- making in affected or threatened communities
2. Improving ways of managing existing community or man-made crises and conflicts realistic all
3. Empower local community institutions to sustain peace, while enhancing peaceful co-existence and win-win partnerships
Our achievements:
TEARFUND (Cornerstone project) reached 5,611 people directly and 9,651 people indirectly in 6 Payams Weikhol Payam (Pamai Area), Yuai, Padiek, Ayod County, Uror, namely, Paluony, Kuachdeng and Pajiek.
Norwegian Peoples Aid (NORAD project) reached 2,460 (1,185 female and 1,275 male) directly and 10,000 indirectly in 5 Payams (Nyadin, Toch, Paguir, Barbuoi, and Old Fangak)
– The communities of Ayod and Uror Counties acceptance to live in peace and harmony.
– Community of Uror conducted two peace conferences in Mottot and Pieiri.
– Community led peace conferences conducted in Walgak of Akobo West as part of community mobilization for peace and peaceful coexistence.
