Nutrition

Our Strategic Objectives:

Our Nutrition Program focuses on preventing and treating malnutrition among vulnerable populations, particularly children under five, pregnant and lactating women, and other at-risk groups.

We implement integrated community-based approaches that combine early screening, treatment of acute malnutrition (SAM/MAM), and preventive interventions such as Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) promotion, micronutrient supplementation, and maternal nutrition support.
We work in close collaboration with community health workers and local health facilities to strengthen nutrition service delivery, enhance referral systems, and promote behavior change communication.

Our program is guided by Sphere Standards, the South Sudan Nutrition Cluster guidelines, and a commitment to addressing the underlying causes of malnutrition, including food insecurity, poor sanitation, and limited access to health services.
