Child Protection
Our Strategic Objectives:
Our child protection program works to prevent and respond to all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence affecting children. We place the best interests of the child at the centre of all interventions.
Key strategies include:
- Case Management & Referral: Identification, assessment, and follow-up of vulnerable children, with referral to appropriate services.
- Psychosocial Support: Provision of safe spaces and structured activities to promote emotional well-being and resilience.
- Family Tracing and Reunification (FTR): Supporting separated and unaccompanied children to reunite with their families or caregivers.
- Prevention of Child Marriage and Exploitation: Community awareness campaigns, engagement with local leaders, and advocacy for enforcement of child protection laws.
- Capacity Strengthening: Training community-based child protection committees, teachers, and social workers.
